Ryan Phillippe's Ex-Girlfriend Pregnant with His Child?

Just as things seem to be heating up between Ryan Phillippe and Amanda Seyfried, a rumor that could cause a potentially serious complication has hit the rumor mill.

Reports tell that 26-year-old actress Alexis Knapp - who dated the "Cruel Intentions" star last summer - is pregnant and a source says "Alexis has told friends that the child is Ryan's."

Phillippe, who has two children with ex-wife Reese Witherspoon, was spotted last week cozying up to Seyfried after the premiere for her movie "Little Red Riding Hood," as well as at the opening of his new flick "The Lincoln Lawyer."

Reps for Alexis and Ryan did not have any comment, but an insider told press, "Ryan is aware of the situation [and] totally prepared to take responsibility should the child be his."

Amanda Seyfried Premieres "Red Riding Hood"

With her new movie set to hit theaters in just a few short days, Amanda Seyfried was busy premiering "Red Riding Hood" in Hollywood, California on Monday evening (March 7).

The 25-year-old actress confidently strutted her stuff on the red carpet at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre venue while hoping for big box office numbers when the fantasy/horror flick sees release on Friday, March 11th.

Joining Miss Seyfried at the glitzy west coast premiere were co-stars Shiloh Fernandez and Virigina Madsen, "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed and director Catherine Hardwicke -who had nothing but praise for her leading lady.

Talking to SheKnows about working with Amanda, Catherine dished, "She’s charming, she’s sexy. What can’t she do [laughs]? For me, I felt like we had a pretty aggressive schedule. She’s in almost every scene. I’d say, 'Amanda, we have two minutes.' She was always ready. She focuses in that exact moment. She’s right there. You feel what she’s feeling. You feel for her. She’s got 'it.' She allows herself to be a child and to play. She’s a professional. Thinking of Julie and her, they both never complain no matter how drastic the situation is. She’s not a diva in any way, shape or form. I hope she can keep that beautiful side."

As for the movie, "Red Riding Hood" is "set in a medieval village that is haunted by a werewolf, during which a young girl falls for an orphaned woodcutter, much to her family's displeasure."

If you want to get a giggle out of Amanda Seyfried, don't be afraid to go blue.

The Red Riding Hood actress admits she has a “sick” sense of humour and is rarely shocked by dirty jokes.

She said: “I think it comes from the morbid sense of humor my sister has. I love sick jokes. I can’t tell you, but what I will say is that nothing shocks me. Really nothing. Gross things make me laugh like a 12-year-old. Penis jokes make me laugh.”

However, Amanda admits she hasn’t always been so flippant and easygoing about sex and rude jokes because of her conservative childhood.

The 25-year-old blonde told Marie Claire magazine: “Sex was meant to be a scary thing. Because of AIDS and pregnancy, we were constantly taught to stay away from it. Schools, videos, abstinence … It was just made out to be this very scary thing. My parents aren’t very religious anyway, so that wasn’t part of it. I think it was just the society where I grew up which made me look at it wrong. Also there were a lot of girls who got pregnant at school so that was terrifying.”

Not surprisingly Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe have reportedly called it quits on their almost four month covert romance.

It all started when the Mamma Mia! star was spotted leaving with Phillippe from Kate Hudson’s annual Halloween party at her Pacific Palisades home, and then photographed the following morning, leaving the actor’s home. Afterward the two were spotted out together on and off, at places like celebrity hangout ‘Soho House’ in West Hollywood, where they were outwardly affectionate with each other.

But rumors of the pair splitting heated up when Phillippe was seen trying to hit on singer Rihanna, at a pre-Grammy party on Saturday Feb. 11.

An insider now tells UsMagazine, “They are not dating anymore. And it’s not a big deal for either of them.”

Another insider was quoted as saying, “At one point, there was a chance it would develop into something more serious, but it never did.”
