Cover Girl Heidi Klum Shares a Sweet Date Night With Seal and Day With Kids

Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum and Seal drove away from Matsuhisa restaurant in LA on Thursday evening. They ate out at the Beverly Hills hot spot while another celebrity couple, Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez, also shared a dinner date there. Friday Heidi stopped a children’s hospital where she played and posed with some little kids. Heidi and Seal had another adults-only night on the town at last weekend’s Grammys, where Heidi showed her support in a sexy gold gown as Seal picked up an honor. Heidi’s the one in the spotlight, though, on the March issue of Lucky. She calls President Obama “hot” inside the magazine, and perhaps she’ll get a chance to tell him to his face when Seal performs at the White House next week.

Oksana Grigorieva Called Mel Gibson "Bluff" By Balking at Settlement, Emails Show

Oksana Grigorieva walked away from a huge settlement offer by Mel Gibson last spring because she felt the actor was "bluffing." At what? Well, it's unclear.

The actor's estranged ex told her lawyer she wanted to see "where the chips might fall" in court unless Mel was stripped of some custodial rights with Lucia.

Moreover, she was sure Gibson was "bluffing" and claimed she was forced to sign a $15 million peace deal "under duress" from her own legal advisors.

Mel Gibson and Girlfriend

According to Radar, Oksana Grigorieva sent Eric George the following emails:

"If the opposition is buying my silence, please, we have to renogitiate (sic) the castody (sic) portion and to secure the monetory (sic)," she wrote June 2.

"If they say "No" then Im (sic) prepared to loose (sic) all this money they are paying to me and I WILL go court, see where the chips might fall."

"I'm NOT scared anymore and I'm NOT bluffing. I'm pretty sure the other side was bluffing. He (Mel Gbson) doesn't want this publicity."

By this publicity, she means the Mel Gibson tapes. Funny how those got out.

Her e-mails, texts and documents which provide new insight into the hardball negotiations that took place behind-the-scenes in the pair's legal battles.

The Los Angeles District Attorney will decide as soon as this week whether to charge Gibson with domestic violence and Grigorieva with extortion.

As you've likely ascertained, the case is very complicated and no decision has been made by the D.A. on whether to charge either, neither or both.

Grigorieva's declaration that she would risk it all to "see where the chips might fall" could serve as the crucial evidence required to exonerate her.

Gibson has charged that she concocted an elaborate extortion plot to fleece him of millions, in exchange for suppressing his vulgar phone rants.

While those recordings paint him as a deranged madman, evidence that a crime was committed by either is questionable at best. Stay tuned.

Carlos Leon discusses Lourdes: My daughter is everything to me

Their own relationship didn’t last, but Carlos Leon found the love of his life thanks to Madonna â€" their daughter Lourdes.
“I’m forever grateful to [Madonna], Leon tells PEOPLE. “I have no regrets. I wouldn’t change anything. I got the best thing out of that relationship, and that’s my daughter. My daughter is everything to me.
Like many smitten fathers, Leon, 44, admits he has a tough time being strict with Lourdes, now 14.
“I’m a lenient dad, says the personal trainer and actor, whose new film Immigration Tango came out Friday. “I’m very empathetic, and I’m good at listening to my daughter … I’m probably a bad dad when it comes to disciplining her.
One area where he tends to be overly compromising? Her curfew. “I try to work with her on it, he says. “We settle on a time, say around 10 p.m., and she’s like, ‘How about 10:30?’ And it eventually becomes 10:15.
Leon says Lourdes isn’t dating yet, but knows it’s coming. “I’m dreading it so much, because she’s my little girl. I want her to stay young forever, he says. “I’m already overprotective, so when the time comes, I will be ready to have a talk with the guy she brings through the door. He better be ready, because I’ll give him the rundown!
For now, he and his daughter bond by going on bike rides in New York City and hanging out at home, watching movies like Harry Potter and Twilight.
“She loves to watch Harry Potter. It’s a favorite of hers. We can watch that 100 times â€" well, she can,â€ Leon says. “Twilight is also pretty big at our house. She likes Robert Pattinson. She’s Team Edward all the way.â€
Besides wizards and vampires, Lourdes loves fashion and is a budding fashionista. She even gives Dad a few pointers.
“Sometimes she will give me a hard time about my clothes, Leon says. “I wore a pair of jeans once, and they weren’t as skinny as I usually wear them, and she was like, ‘Oh my God, Dad, those pants are ugly. Please change your pants.’
He adds with a laugh: “They were too bootcut, so I changed.

Cricket Live Score: AUS vs ZIM 2011 Fifth ODI Live

Australia vs Zimbabwe (AUS vs. ZIM) ICC World Cup Live Cricket Score.

Australia vs ZimbabweThe ICC World Cup 2011 match for today, the fourth one, featuring Australia vs Zimbabwe (Aus vs Zim), is happening at the Sardar Patel Gujarat Stadium, Motera, Ahmedabad.

Australia won the toss against Zimbabwe and chose to bat. Australia made a surprisingly slow start, with Haddin at one stage making just 16 runs off 41 balls.

Australia start their campaign for a fifth ICC Cricket World Cup trophy with a tricky opener against Zimbabwe on Monday.

Australia have been unbeaten in 22 matches in the last two tournaments played in South Africa (2003) and West Indies (2007), under Ricky Ponting.

They have won 23 back to back matches stretching to 1999 and have been unconquered in 29 ties, which includes the unforgettable tied match against South Africa in the semifinal 12 years ago.

On paper, Ponting's men hold a clear edge over the African nation led by Elton Chigumbara, but would be eager not to be tripped by the one-time minnows of the 50-over game as was the case 28 years ago in England.

The Aussies, fresh from a 6-1 rout of their Ashes nemesis England in the following ODI series at home, landed in India only to be rudely awakened by successive defeats in their two practice games against India and South Africa at Bangalore.

But they are sure to hit the strap on the run when their bid to clinch their fifth World Cup crown starts.

The Aussies have a fine batting line-up in which Shane Watson, who opens the batting, and Ponting are crucial in the top order to lay the platform for others to build upon.

But a question mark remains over the ability of the middle order batsmen in playing spin bowling on Indian pitches.

Watson has performed brilliantly with the bat in ODIs in the last year, having scored 832 runs and Zimbabwe's think tank would have talked about ways of stopping the Queenslander from taking the game away.

"It's much different and bigger responsibility in opening the innings than batting at number seven in the last World Cup, a role Adam Gilchrist and Matthew Hayden did so beautifully throughout their career. It's a great responsibility and I'm looking forward to that challenge," said Watson.

Ponting, whose fabulous innings of 140 not out in 121 balls in the 2003 World Cup final buried Indian hopes, has come back into action after a long injury lay-off following a broken little finger sustained during the Ashes series against England. But he has quickly got into his stride with good half-century knocks in two practice games.

It's the form of the others which is a big worry for Australia. Without the presence of the injured Michael Hussey, who was adept in playing the slow bowlers on previous visits to the sub-continent, they lack a batsman around whom the other quick run-getters like Cameron White can play around.

The Indian spinners exposed the chink in the Aussie batting armoury in the practice game when they triggered a collapse and helped the hosts defend a meagre total with aplomb.

Though not too much needs to be read into the practice ties, as Watson insisted earlier, Zimbabwe's think tank would surely have noted this stuttering performance with some glee as their own attack revolves around spin rather than pace as was the case in the past.

In bowling, Australia have a pace attack that can be handy for opposing batsmen even on the slow and low sub-continental wickets.

The biggest plus for them has been the return to what looks like the form of his old by spearhead Brett Lee who is expected to open the bowling with sling-arm action and speedy Shaun Tait with left-arm Mitchell Johnson coming in as first change.

Australia have an excess of riches in pace and medium pace with Watson and John Hastings, who is expected to play, coming in behind the top three. But they lack a top class front-line spin bowler barring Jason Krejza, who has been recalled after several months, to bowl the middle overs when the field is spread out.

Ricky Ponting will create the Australian record of making most appearances in ICC CWC matches when he will take field against Zimbabwe and will overtake former teammate Glenn McGrath in the process.

Ponting, who is also eying rare feat of winning three World Cup trophies as skipper, is tied with McGrath on 39 appearances till date.

Zimbabwe have not been hot property in ODIs over the last few months and barring a few victories over a less than full-strength India at home, have not really been up to the mark.

They have a reasonably sufficient batting line-up in which Brendon Taylor stands out with his ability and experience, but can find the going tough against the Aussie pace attack.

Zimbabwe are hoping that a spin-oriented attack, consisting of former skipper Prosper Utseya, left-armer Ray Price and Graeme Cremer would do the magic against the middle order of Australia.

"It is going to be tough to play the first match of the World Cup before the defending champions Australia. But I think the guys are prepared," leg spinner Cremer said.

Cremer also said the bowlers were learning the tricks of bowling on sub-continental tracks by watching seasoned bowlers like India's main trump card Harbhajan Singh.

"We have watched Harbhajan (Singh) bowl. At what speed he bowls and what length he bowls. It is good for us. And on the last tour to Bangladesh (in December 2010), we saw how our spinners bowled and their spinners, and there tracks are pretty similar to here," said the 24-year-old with 47 one-day wickets to his credit.

"Spin is one of our strengths with which we could take on the Australians, which is a tough team. We ought to restrict them to a low score," said Utseya.

Even with these factors which are likely to help them, the Zimbabweans have a huge task on hand in taming the three-time defending champions and cause the first big upset of the tournament as was the case in 1983 in England.

Teams:

Australia: Shane Watson, Brad Haddin (wk), Ricky Ponting (capt), Michael Clarke, Callum Ferguson, David Hussey, Cameron White, Tim Paine (wk), Steven Smith, John Hastings, Mitchell Johnson, Jason Krejza, Brett Lee, Shaun Tait, Doug Bollinger.

Zimbabwe: Elton Chigumbura (capt), Regis Chakabva, Charles Coventry, Graeme Cremer, Craig Ervine, Terry Duffin, Gregory Lamb, Shingirai Masakadza, Chris Mpofu, Ray Price, Tatenda Taibu, Tinashe Panyangara, Brendan Taylor, Prosper Utseya and Sean Williams.
Umpires: Asoka de Silva and Richard Kettleborough, Third umpire: Amish Saheba, Match Referee: Jeff Crowe

Approaching milestones

- Ricky Ponting would be setting a record for most appearances in the World Cup. At present, he shares the record with Glenn McGrath. Both have appeared in 39 games between 1996 and 2007.

- Australia have played 29 games in succession between May 27, 1999 and April 28, 2007 without losing - a record at the World Cup. With just one victory in the 2011 edition, Australia would be the first nation to play 30 consecutive games without losing. Apart from Australia, not even a single team has played ten consecutive games without losing. Australia's tally includes 22 consecutive games won by them between June 20, 1999 and April 28, 2007.

- Ponting is the only skipper to enjoy a cent per cent record, having won all the 22 world cup matches. He is all set to overtake Stephen Fleming's tally of 27 matches as captain.

- Ponting (954 at 59.62 in 22 games) needs 46 runs to become the first captain to aggregate 1,000 runs in the World Cup. In case of a hundred in any of the games during the present competition, he would be eclipsing Sourav Ganguly's record of three hundreds as captain.

Australia vs Zimbabwe in ODIs

The two countries have played 27 games against each other in ODIs. Australia have won 25, Zimbabwe 1 while the remaining game could not produce a result. The winning % for Australia is 96.15 and 3.84 for Zimbabwe.

Australia vs Zimbabwe in World Cup

Having won their first game against Australia in the 1983 World Cup by 13 runs, Zimbabwe have lost the next seven games - their winning % being 12.50 as against Australia's 87.50. Australia, except for the defeat in their first encounter against Zimbabwe, have won all their result-oriented games.

Overall World Cup Record

Australia have won 51 out of 69 contested (Lost 17 & NR 1) - winning % 74.63.

Zimbabwe have won 8 out of 45 played (Lost 33, NR 3 & Tied 1) - winning % 20.23.

New Transformers Dark of the Moon TV Spot

Transformers 3 TV Spot 2 7 10 kc New Transformers Dark of the Moon TV Spot

A new TV spot has been released for Michael Bay’s upcoming sequel, Transformers Dark of the Moon. The video aired during NASCAR’s Daytona 500 and it featured new footage not shown in the Super Bowl spot. We get up close and personal with Sam Witwicky and his new girlfriend as played by Rosie Huntington Whiteley. Take a look…

Did we just see two race cars appear in this TV spot? No wonder they decided to debut this video during the Daytona 500. There’s obviously some subliminal marketing going on here. As for the rest of the video, it seems like all of the Transformers have been “suped up” with added weapons and parts. We’re not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing. It was pretty hard to comprehend some of the action scenes in the previous movies, and more moving pieces will only make matters worse.

Also, Sam’s new relationship is at the center of this ad. We originally found it hard to believe that he could land someone as beautiful as Mikaela (Megan Fox), so seeing him with a Victoria’s Secret model just seems ridiculous.

Transformers Dark of the Moon is scheduled to hit theaters on July 1, 2011.

What do you think of the TV spot for Transformers Dark of the Moon?

Jessica Simpson: Fashion Mogul?

Give Jessica Simpson credit.  She's become a mogul.

Sure, her career as a singer, actress and reality star has pretty much come and gone, but her growing stature in the fashion sphere is nothing to sneeze at.

"I never thought I'd be some fashion mogul!" she tells New York Magazine of her increasingly huge fashion line, for which successful is an understatement.

Fashion Mogul JessJessica Simpson + No Pants = Nice

$1 BILLION: That's the projected sales for Jess' line this year. Really.

Simpson's manager says the appeal of her clothing line is as simple as branding the star's image at affordable price points and appealing to all ages:

"A girl could go to the shopping mall with her mom and she'd have a great new outfit and still have some money left for lunch at McDonald's. She can look like Jessica Simpson, smell like Jessica Simpson, and she can afford it."

"I put everything in the line and then it just blows out," Simpson says."When it comes to other celebrity brands, I think a lot of people do a great job, but it can't be all about them. Everybody doesn't want to just look like the celebrity, because they can't. They just want one element of that style."

Simpson also spills on fiance Eric Johnson: "Was it love at first sight?... No. I don't know if I believe in that. But it was 'I could love this man.'"

As previously reported, Johnson has helped Simpson tap her New Age side. Together, they write down their thoughts "free form" every morning.

"I just let it flow," she says. "My fiance taught me that. He'll get up in the morning and just write, so nothing blocks his emotional life."

"It doesn't even have to be in sentence form; he just gets everything out, and that way he can function without getting in the way of himself, without being aggressive or judgmental. We do that together. Sometimes he takes that hour just reading, we'll get out of bed and just read aloud to each other. He has so many books."

"Like, just books and books and books and books."

No word if she had ever seen one when they first got together, but we're glad she's happy with her new man and wish her continued success.

Health Tips Today: Eyes Say About Our Health

14 Things Your Eyes Say About Your Health.

Looking people straight in the eye may or may not reveal their honesty -- but the eyes *can* tell you about cholesterol, liver disease, or diabetes, if you know what to look for.

"The eye is a unique window into health," says ophthalmologist Andrew Iwach, spokesperson for the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and executive director of the Glaucoma Center of San Francisco. "It's the only place in the body where, without surgery, we can look in and see veins, arteries, and a nerve (the optic nerve)."

The eyes' transparency explains why common eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration can be detected early with regular eye exams.

"Unfortunately, people get busy and delay not only eye exams but regular physicals. That's why eye doctors sometimes discover other issues, like diabetes or high blood pressure," Iwach says. Especially vulnerable, he says: People like caregivers, who worry about others around them while neglecting care for themselves.

Keep your eye out for these 14 problems.

1. Red flag: Disappearing eyebrows

What it means: Shaved eyebrows are a fad (or fashion, if you will) in some circles. But when the outer third of the brow (the part closest to the ears) starts to disappear on its own, this is a common sign of thyroid disease -- either hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid gland) or hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid gland). The thyroid is a small but critical gland that helps regulate metabolism, and thyroid hormones are among those critical to hair production.

More clues: Brows tend to thin with age naturally. But with thyroid disease, the brow-hair loss isn't evenly distributed; it's a selective dropout on the ends. There's usually a loss of hair elsewhere on the body, too, but the brows are so prominent, it's often noticed here first. Early graying is a related sign of a thyroid problem. Women are more often affected than men, and hyperthyroidism especially strikes women in their 20s and 30s.

What to do: Mention this symptom to a dermatologist or your regular doctor. Most other symptoms of both hyper- and hypothyroidism are notoriously broad and general. Before you see a doctor, make note of any other changes you've noticed, possibly concerning weight, energy levels, bowel or menstrual regularity, mood, or skin changes.

2. Red flag: A stye that won't go away

What it means: The vast majority of the time, a small, raised, often reddish bump along the inner or outer eyelid margin is just an unsightly but innocuous stye (also called a "chalazion"). But if the spot doesn't clear up in three months, or seems to keep recurring in the same location, it can also be a rare cancer (sebaceous gland carcinoma).

More clues: Actual styes are plugged-up oil glands at the eyelash follicle. Fairly common, they tend to clear up within a month. A cancerous cyst that mimics a stye, on the other hand, doesn't go away. (Or it may seem to go away but return in the same spot.) Another eyelid cancer warning sign: Loss of some of the eyelashes around the stye.

What to do: Point out a persistent stye to an ophthalmologist (a medical doctor who specializes in the eye). A biopsy can confirm the diagnosis. The stye is usually removed surgically.

3. Red flag: Bumpy yellowish patches on the eyelid

What it means: Xanthelasma palpebra, the medical name for these tiny yellow bumps, are usually a warning that you may have high cholesterol. They're also called "cholesterol bumps" -- they're basically fatty deposits.

More clues: Sometimes people mistake these bumps for a stye, but with xanthelasma, there tends to be more than one bump and they're quite small.

What to do: See your doctor or a skin or eye specialist. A diagnosis can usually be made by sight. An ophthalmologist can also examine the eye and see deposits; for this reason, in fact, sometimes high cholesterol is first diagnosed during a routine eye exam. The problem usually isn't serious and doesn't cause pain or vision problems. A physician will also evaluate you for other signs of coronary artery disease.

4. Red flag: Burning eyes, blurry vision while using a computer

What it means: You might be a workaholic, and you definitely have "computer vision syndrome" (CVS). The eyestrain is partly caused by the lack of contrast on a computer screen (compared with ink on paper) and the extra work involved in focusing on pixels of light. What's more, by midlife the eyes lose some of their ability to produce lubricating tears. Irritation sets in, adding to blurriness and discomfort.

More clues: Does the problem worsen in the afternoon (when the eyes tend to become drier)? Is it worse when you're reading fine print (more eyestrain)? People who wear glasses or contacts tend to be bothered more by CVS. "Sometimes the problem is made worse by a fan positioned so it blows right in the face," the AAO's Iwach adds, noting that the air further dries tired eyes.

What to do: Reduce glare by closing window shades, investing in a computer hood, or checking out antireflective coating for your glasses (if you wear them). Simply tinkering with the contrast of your screen can help, too. White areas should neither glow brightly like a light source nor appear gray. Flat-panel LCD display screens (like those on laptops) cause less eyestrain than older models. Keep reference material close to the same height as your monitor, giving your eyes a break from having to refocus so much.

5. Red flag: Increasing gunk in the eye

What it means: Blepharitis -- inflammation of the eyelids, especially at the edges -- can have several causes. Two of them, surprisingly, are conditions better associated with other body parts: scalp dandruff and acne rosacea (which causes flushed red skin, usually in the faces of fair-skinned women at midlife).

More clues: The eyes may also feel irritated, as if specks have gotten in them. They may burn, tear, or feel dry. The crusty debris tends to gather in the lashes or the inner corners of the eyes, or even on the lids.

What to do: With clean hands, apply a warm, damp washcloth to the eyes for about five minutes at a time to loosen debris and soothe the skin. See a doctor, who may prescribe an antibiotic ointment or oral antibiotics, as well as artificial tears.

6. Red flag: A small blind spot in your vision, with shimmering lights or a wavy line

What it means: An ocular migraine (also called an "ophthalmic migraine," "optical migraine," or "migraine aura") produces this disturbed vision, with or without an accompanying headache. Changes in blood flow to the brain are thought to be the cause.

More clues: The visual distortion starts in the center of the field of vision. It might appear as a bright dot, dots, or a line that can seem to move and disrupt your ability to see properly, as if you were looking through a pocked or cracked window. It's painless and causes no lasting damage. Individuals seem to have different triggers (ranging from chocolate, caffeine, and alcohol to stress). A headache, possibly severe enough to cause nausea, sometimes follows.

What to do: If you're driving, pull over until the phenomenon passes (usually within an hour). Do have an eye specialist check it out if vision impairment lasts more than an hour or so, to rule out serious problems such as a retinal tear; or if you also experience other symptoms elsewhere that could indicate stroke or seizure (such as fever, loss of muscle strength, or speech impairment).

7. Red flag: Red, itchy eyes

What it means: Many things can irritate eyes, but itchiness accompanied by sneezing, coughing, sinus congestion, and/or a runny nose, usually screams "I'm allergic!" When the eyes are involved, the trigger is usually airborne, like pollen, dust, or animal dander.

More clues: An eye allergy can also be caused by certain cosmetics or ointments. Some people, for example, are allergic to the preservative in eye drops used to treat dry eyes.

What to do: Staying away from the allergic trigger is the usual treatment. Antihistamines can treat the itchiness; those in eye-drop or gel form deliver relief to the eyes faster. If the problem turns out to be an allergy to eye drops, look for a preservative-free brand.

8. Red flag: Whites of the eye turned yellowish

What it means: Two groups of people most often show this symptom, known as jaundice: Newborns with immature liver function and adults with problems of the liver, gallbladder, or bile ducts, including hepatitis and cirrhosis. The yellow in the white part of the eye (the sclera) is caused by a buildup of bilirubin, the by-product of old red blood cells the liver can't process.

More clues: "Other tissues of the body would have the same look, but we can't see it as clearly as in the whites of the eye," says ophthalmologist Iwach. (Skin can also turn yellowish when a person consumes too much beta carotene -- found in carrots -- but in those cases the whites of the eyes remain white.)

What to do: Mention the symptom to a doctor if the person isn't already under care for a liver-related disease, so the jaundice can be evaluated and the underlying cause treated.

9. Red flag: A bump or brown spot on the eyelid

What it means: Even people who are vigilant about checking their skin may overlook the eyelid as a spot where skin cancer can strike. Most malignant eyelid tumors are basal cell carcinoma. When such a tumor appears as a brown spot, then -- as with any other form of skin cancer -- it's more likely to be malignant melanoma.

More clues: Elderly, fair-skinned people are at highest risk. Look especially at the lower eyelid. The bump may look pearly, with tiny blood vessels. If the bump is in the eyelash area, some eyelashes may be missing.

What to do: Always have any suspicious skin spots or sores checked out by a dermatologist, family physician, or eye doctor. Early detection is critical, before the problem spreads to nearby lymph nodes.

10. Red flag: Eyes that seem to bulge

What it means: The most common cause of protruding eyes is hyperthyroidism (overactivity of the thyroid gland), especially the form known as Graves' disease. (First Lady Barbara Bush had it.)

More clues: One way to tell if an eye is bulging is to see whether there's any visible white part between the top of the iris and the upper eyelid, because normally there shouldn't be. (Some people inherit a tendency toward eyes that bulge, so if the appearance seems to run in a family, it probably isn't hyperthyroidism.) The person may not blink often and may seem to be staring at you. Because the condition develops slowly, it's sometimes first noticed in photos or by the occasional visitor rather than by someone who lives with the person every day.

What to do: Mention the symptom to a doctor, especially if it's present in tandem with other signs of Graves' disease, including blurry vision, restlessness, fatigue, increase in appetite, weight loss, tremors, and palpitations. A blood test can measure thyroid levels. Treatment includes medication and surgery.

11. Red flag: Sudden double vision, dim vision, or loss of vision

What it means: These are the visual warning signs of stroke.

More clues: The other signs of stroke include sudden numbness or weakness of the arm or leg or face, typically on just one side of the body; trouble walking because of dizziness or loss of balance or coordination; slurred speech; or bad headache. In a large stroke (caused by a blood clot or bleeding in the brain), these symptoms happen all at once. In a smaller stroke caused by narrowed arteries, they can occur across a longer period of minutes or hours.

What to do: Seek immediate medical help by calling 911.

12. Red flag: Dry eyes that are sensitive to light

What it means: Sjogren's (pronounced "show-grins") syndrome is an immune system disorder. It impairs the glands in the eyes and mouth that keep them moist.

More clues: Sjogren's usually affects women over age 40 with autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis or lupus. Usually the eyes and mouth are affected together. The person may also have vaginal dryness, dry sinuses, and dry skin. Because of a lack of saliva, it can be difficult to chew and swallow.

What to do: A doctor can diagnose Sjogren's through testing. Artificial lubricants (such as artificial tears) are usually necessary to protect the eyes, as well as to improve eating. Drinking plenty of water also helps.

13. Red flag: Sudden difficulty closing one eye, inability to control tears in it

What it means: Bell's palsy is an impairment of the nerve that controls facial muscles (the seventh cranial nerve), causing temporary paralysis in half the face. It sometimes follows a viral infection (such as shingles, mono, or HIV) or a bacterial infection (such as Lyme disease). Diabetics and pregnant women are also at higher risk.

More clues: Half of the entire face, not just the eye, is affected. Effects vary from person to person, but the overall effect is for the face to appear droopy and be weak. The eyelid may droop and be difficult or impossible to close, and there will be either excessive tearing or an inability to produce tears. The effects tend to come on suddenly.

What to do: See a doctor. Most cases are temporary and the person recovers completely within weeks. Rarely, the condition can recur. Physical therapy helps restore speaking, smiling, and other tasks that require the facial muscles working in unison, and it also helps avoid an asymmetrical appearance. Professional eye care can keep the affected eye lubricated and undamaged.

14. Red flag: Blurred vision in a diabetic

What it means: Diabetics are at increased risk for several eye problems, including glaucoma and cataracts. But the most common threat to vision is diabetic retinopathy, in which the diabetes affects the circulatory system of the eye. It's the leading cause of blindness in American adults.

More clues: The changes linked to diabetic retinopathy tend to show up in people who have had the disease for a long time, not those recently diagnosed. The person may also see "floaters," tiny dark specks in the field of vision. Sometimes diabetes causes small hemorrhages (bleeding) that are visible in the eye. There's no pain. People with poorly controlled blood sugar may have worse symptoms.

What to do: Someone with diabetes should have a dilated eye exam annually to catch and control the earliest stages of retinopathy, glaucoma, cataracts, or other changes -- before they manifest as changes you're aware of.

  • The bikini is hideous as is the botoxed face. Trump looks like every old 70 year old woman on the beach, you can make your face look as young as you want but there is nothing you can do about old wrinkly skin.

  • It could be a lot worse. I have to say her first facelift was one of the best I’ve ever seen â€" the transformation was incredible. But I think she’s gotten her upper lip done and it doesn’t look good. And Madison â€" I thought she was 70, too â€" she’s *only* 61 or 62.

  • Good for her, getting out there in a bikini, what is she like, 100? Old people do have old people bodies, it’s just a fact of life.

  • I have had chest congestion all day and seeing Ivanka and her pubes just caused my chest to BURN like the flames of Hell. Lawd, sometimes my mom gets on my nerves and will say things that cause me to roll my eyes or even cringe but she has NEVER done this to me. Thank you, Mummy. I would never recover if I saw you hanging out at the beach like this.

    Sacha Baron Cohen's The Dictator

    59522839

Paramount Pictures announced today that Sacha Baron Cohen’s new comedy The Dictator will be released worldwide on May 11, 2012. The studio also announced that Larry Charles (Borat, Bruno) has come aboard to direct.

As the press releases states: "The film tells the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed. It is inspired by the best selling novel Zabibah and The King by Saddam Hussein."

Uh-oh. Sounds like this film is going to be offensively funny. But, then again, we've come to expect that from Mr. Cohen.

Pixar wants us to re-familiarize ourselves with the world of Cars. The sequel to the 2006 animated film is scheduled to hit theaters this summer, so we need to be in an automotive state of mind. The studio has released several character videos and biographies that feature cars from the past and present. Check out Mater, Finn McMissile, and the gorgeous Holley Shiftwell below…

    Finn McMissile

Finn McMissile is a master British spy. Though charming and eloquent, it’s his stealth maneuvering, intelligence and years in the field that enable him to thwart unexpected attacks from bad guys, making quick daredevil escapes.. Finn’s design is sleek and timeless, but he’s also prepared for any tricky situation with an arsenal of ultra-cool gadgets and weaponry, including front and rear grappling hooks, a missile launcher, deployable magnetic explosives and a holographic disguise emitter. As a seasoned professional in the game of international espionage, Finn believes there is a conspiracy brewing during the World Grand Prix. His clandestine work surrounding the global exhibition race puts him on a collision course with Mater, whom he mistakes for an undercover American agent with a genius disguise.

    Holley Shiftwell

Holley Shiftwell is a beautiful young British desk agent, turned spy-in-training who’s stationed in Tokyo. Well-educated and sharp, she knows every trick in the bookâ€"or rather, she relies on every trick in the spy manual. She’s armed with the latest state-of-the-art spy equipment imaginable, from hidden cameras and concealed weapons to a telescoping utility arm and a holographic pop-up display. Holley is a highly motivated agent, but is fresh out of the academy, so her experience is based on lessons learned in school rather than real-life situations. When seasoned international spy Finn McMissile requires Holley’s technical expertise for his latest top-secret field operation, she finds herself pursuing a rendezvous with the most unlikely candidateâ€"Mater, an innocent caught up in the intrigue, who is mesmerized by the beauty of his newest friend.

    Mater

Not long after their arrival in Tokyo, Mater learns that the world outside of Radiator Springs is decidedly different and its newfangled ways may take some getting used to.  But when he’s mistaken for an American secret agent, he falls into an intriguing adventure of his own. Caught between supporting his best friend on a globe-trotting racing competition and his new role in international espionage, Mater ends up in an explosive chase through the streets of Tokyo and Europe alongside a team of British spies and international bad guys.

Cars 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on June 24, 2011 and it will be available in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D.

What do you think of the the characters from Cars 2? Are you excited to see the sequel?

Obama Approval Up, But Many Unhappy

Obama Falling Below Expectations at Two-Year Mark.

After two years in office, over half of American voters say President Obama is failing to live up to expectations, and a majority is dissatisfied with the way things are going in the country today.

Still, the president’s job approval rating is at its highest level in over six months. These are just some of the findings from a Fox News poll released Thursday.

Approval of Obama’s job performance stands at 47 percent, up from 40 percent in December.

The last time approval of the president was this high was late June 2010 (also 47 percent approval). The new poll found 44 percent disapprove of the job Obama is doing.

A year ago 50 percent approved and 42 percent disapproved (January 2010).

The improvement in Obama’s rating comes from a boost from his party faithful (87 percent of Democrats approve), as well as good ratings across the board for his handling of the Tucson shooting. Overall, 71 percent of voters approve and 10 percent disapprove of Obama’s handling of the shooting. Nineteen percent are unsure.

About 4 in 10 voters -- 42 percent -- think Obama is meeting or exceeding expectations. That’s unchanged from 42 percent who thought so last year, though a significant drop from the two-thirds who felt that way in early 2009.

A 53 percent majority thinks Obama is falling below expectations, up slightly from 50 percent at the end of his first year in office (January 2010). More than twice as many now say the president is missing the mark as in the early days of his term, when 23 percent said he was falling below expectations.

More than a third of Americans (37 percent) are satisfied with the way things are going in the country today, which is little improvement from 35 percent a year ago. Even so, nearly twice as many are satisfied today as were satisfied the week before Obama took office.

And while most voters -- 61 percent -- remain dissatisfied with the way things are going today, that’s a significant improvement from the 79 percent who felt that way in early 2009, days before President Obama took office.

By a 51-42 percent margin, more voters say they would vote for someone else if the 2012 presidential election were held today than would support re-election of President Obama.

Setting aside job performance and thinking about Barack Obama as a person, 56 percent of voters say they have a favorable opinion of him, up from 47 percent in late October. Forty percent have an unfavorable view today, down from 48 percent. In the week before Obama was inaugurated, his favorable rating soared to a high of 76 percent.

First Lady Michelle Obama has a higher favorable rating than her husband: 69 percent have a positive opinion of her (up 10 percentage points since October), while 20 percent have an unfavorable view and another 11 percent are unable to rate her.

Some 29 percent have a favorable opinion of the House Speaker John Boehner, up from 12 percent favorable in September. Twenty-one percent have an unfavorable view, and 50 percent are still unfamiliar with the new Speaker and unable to rate him.

Obama Becoming More of a Moderate?

After the president and Republican leaders came to a compromise in December on extending the Bush-era tax cuts, some Washington commentators suggested Obama was becoming more moderate. Across the country, 42 percent of voters think Obama is governing as a liberal, compared to 47 percent a year ago (October 2009).

Thirty-two percent think he is governing as a moderate, up just 3 percentage points from 29 percent previously.

The national telephone poll was conducted for Fox News by Opinion Dynamics Corp. of 900 randomly chosen registered voters from Jan. 18 to Jan. 19. It has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points for the total sample.

    Ivanka Trump: Pregnant!

Ivanka Trump is having a baby!

Just moments ago, The Donald's daughter took to Twitter to say, "I have been wanting to share some amazing news with you all for some time... I'm pregnant!"

"Jared and I couldn't be more excited."

    Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner Pic

    Congratulations to the parents-to-be!

This will be the first child for Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner, who married in 2009 at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J.

Ivanka and Jared were spotted out just last night in NYC, interestingly enough, where the 29-year-old Trump showed barely any baby bump.

Their child should be fairly well taken care of and good looking in any case. No word yet when Ivanka's due date is or the gender of the baby.
